Alliance to Provide Rain Garden Assistance
Are you looking for a way to help protect our water? Then join the White River Alliance for a FREE workshop that will provide homeowners with everything you need to learn about rain gardens. Rain gardens are special plantings that look a lot like a typical flowerbed but are strategically located to capture storm water runoff and filter out pollutants.
In coordination with area cities and towns, the Alliance is also providing FREE on-site technical assistance to help you evaluate your property, arrange for equipment, and place a plant order at reduced cost.
If you care about water quality, healthy reservoirs and streams, and wildlife habitat, then this is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running this spring with a unique project that will have a great impact. See the attached flyer, and contact Scott Minor at the White River Alliance for more information:firstname.lastname@example.org.
