The White River Watchers would like to welcome John Vann as our guest speaker.  
 

John Vann, Muncie, Indiana, will be presenting a program on Global
Warming at our Jan. 22 meeting. John was one of 50 people in the
United States who was chosen to receive a copy of An Inconvenient
Truth by Al Gore, plus a projector and workshop training on the
documentation used in the video. We warmly welcome him to our next
meeting, and look forward to a very exciting program.

John Vann, Associate Professor of Marketing, received his B.A. in Physics from Emory University, his M.B.A. from Michigan State University (Marketing and

 Transportation Administration), and his Ph.D. (1980) in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Prior to joining the Ball State faculty in 1986, Dr. Vann

 has been a faculty member at the Florida Institute of Technology, the University of Georgia, and the University of Missouri in Columbia. He has presented papers at

 numerous national conferences including: Marketing and Public Policy, Association for Consumer Research, American Marketing Association, Macromarketing, and

 Southern Marketing Association. Professor Vann has published articles in the Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research,

 Transportation Journal, Journal of Business Logistics, The Logistics and Transportation Review, Journal of Consumer Studies and Home Economics, and the

 Clothing and Textiles Research Journal. His Research and consulting interests include the role of marketing in economic development and sustainable business

 practices.
