MINUTES for APRIL 18, 2005

MINUTES:  The minutes for the previous meeting were postponed.

 TREASURERS REPORT:  Kim gave the treasurer’s report.  There was $32,462.17 with the bill for Ram Graphics in the amount of $2255, still outstanding.

 EDUCATION:  Sheryl was not present.  Dick Fetty went over the itinerary Sheryl had given him.  The education day will be July 7th with the 11th as a rain-out day.  It will be held at Shadyside Park.

 MINI CLEAN-UPS:  Will be on May 14th with the 21st as a rain-out day.  They will begin at 9AM at Edgewater and will include the adopted section of the river.

 CRIST BLASSARAS:  Recounted the degree of violations at Perkinsville by EB Paving on land owned by Sandra Lamb.  He will be sending a letter to the DNR Division of Water airing his concerns. 

 MUNCIE CLEAN-UP:  We will meet at Muncie Central High School at 6PM to help Jim Reece and Jay Dowd to organize a river clean-up.

EARTH DAY:  Earth Day is April 23d, but Anderson will celebrate Earth Day on April 30th with festivities starting at 11AmSince attendance was sparse, a motion was made, seconded and carried to adjourn early.
