November 21, 2005

Minutes:  Minutes for the meeting of October 17, 2005 were approved of as amended

Treasurer’s Report:  The PO Box fee was paid.  There was $30,269.81 in the account.

Old Business:  

          The Christmas party will be in Alexandria at the Emory Lee Building in Beulah Park.  The building has been rented from 4PM to 10PM.  The WRW will buy the ham and have a pitch in for the rest of the food.

          Our monthly meetings will be held in the Delaware Room next year.

Election:  The officers were all elected by unanimous votes.  They were:

          President:  Sheryl Myers

          Vice President:  Crist Blassaras

          Secretary:  Judy DeLury 

          Treasurer:  Kim Rodgers-Hatfield

New Business:

          The budget committee should have a report by the December meeting

          There was discussion on how to deal with the old RR trestle bridge

          Sheryl made a motion to look for canoes to replace the ones that were stolen from John Johnson.  The motion was seconded and passes

          Sheryl suggested having the education day again in July.  She would like to apply to the Madison Community Foundation for a grant to assist with the costs.

          There was discussion about which segment of the White River to clean up in June

 A motion was made, seconded and approved to adjourn.
