Minutes: The minutes for the
meeting of November 21, 2005 were approved as written
Treasurer’s Report: The treasurer’s
report was approved. There was $31,213.49 in the account.
Old business:
Kim needs contributions for the newsletter
Judy is working on the web-site
We need a current list of sponsors for the
t-shirts
We should write a thank-you letter to PQ Co. for
their generous donations
New Business:
It was suggested that we buy polo shirts for the
board members
A motion was made, seconded and approved to
purchase a trailer. The motion is pending final approval for
the selection made
There was a motion made, seconded and approved to
donate $100 for plants in Madison County that will attract Sand
Hill Cranes
Kevin Kenyon will assist in an audit of the
financial account
There was discussion on possible guest speaker(s)
for the April meeting
There will be a clean-up on March 25th
and April 22nd at Shadyside Park
River Bend II is a 12 acre parcel of land. The
fish kill trust fund has approved funding to clear invasive
plants and replant native species. The parcel will be a part of
a hiking-biking trail system. The Redtail Conservancy will hold
the easement and monitor the site twice a year.
The trust fund has also approved a project to
stabilize and rebuild the river bank along the Grandview Golf
Course.
A motion was made, seconded and approved for our
spring clean-up; we will launch at Timberline and take out at
Mounds Park.
A motion was made, seconded and passed for our
fall clean-up to begin at the Sink’s place at 8th and
Raible and end at John’s place
A motion was made, seconded and passed to
