October 19,2009

A great big welcome to all who attended the meeting!

Minutes:  The minutes for the meeting of September 21, 2009 were postponed.

Treasurer's Report:  Kim dropped off the treasurer's report for review. 

Old Business:

      We discussed the re-imbursement of the Lapel football team for their river clean-up.  Kevin Kenyon made a motion to  amend the current policy.  One group can be reimbursed up to $600.00.  Reimbursement will be on a first come first serve basis.  This will be included in the budget and receipts must be provided.  Judy seconded the motion.  The motion carried.

      We discussed having a business plan along with grant opportunities.

      Any educational outreach must reflect to state standards.

New Business:

      We discussed where and when we should have our December meeting. 

      Judy DeLury made a motion to move the December meeting to December 14, 2009.  John Johnson seconded the notion.  The motion carried.

      The library will be closed on Monday January 18, 2009.  The WRW have the room reserved for Tuesday January 19, 2009.  Judy will post this t o the website.

      The library is changing its hours and closing earlier so all our meetings need to be adjourned by 7:30 PM. 

      It was decided that the ballot for our November election of officers will be decided by nominations from the floor.

      We discussed possible projects for walking and canoeing guides.

A motion was made, seconded and passed to adjourn.
