MINUTES
June 19, 2006
Welcome Marian
Osborne-Burk
Minutes: The minutes were accepted
and typographic errors were corrected.
Treasurer’s Report: There was
$28,283.45 in the account. We need to send a note of thanks
to those who donate.
Old Business:
Clean-up. About 20 people showed up even though
the weather was bad and the clean-up had to be cancelled. There
may be an impromptu mini clean-up at a later date.
The proposal for cleaning up the railroad debris
was submitted. We need to check to see if the railroad is
responsible for cleaning up the trestle first.
Camp USA: there are about 35 students this year.
This presents a problem obtaining enough volunteers for the
canoes. There will be too many canoes. (The meeting was
interrupted by tornado warnings with mandatory evacuation into
the basement.) One possibility discussed was a divided
float with two groups of students. A decision was made not to
pursue Camp USA at this time.
John and Dick need to submit invoices for work
done.
There was discussion on where to plant wetlands
plants. No decision was made
New Business:
The clean-up was rescheduled. A mini clean-up
will be held July 15, 2006 at 8:30 AM
A motion was made, seconded and passed to repay

A motion was made, seconded and approved to use

on-line.
