MINUTES: The minutes for the meeting of June
20, 2005 were approved as written
TREASURER’S REPORT: The treasurer was not
present to give a report
OLD BUSINESS:
June Clean-up: The last minute details for the
clean-up were discussed. The East Central Solid Waste District will
take any tires that are picked up at no charge.
Education Day: Will be at Edgewood School. There
will be games, education, go-fish, and birdhouse building. The day
will begin at 8:45 for volunteers. Sheryl Myers passed out letters
to the parents. We will launch at Madison Ave and take out at the
Sink’s Canoe Rental. Canoes will be rented from the Sink’s. The
last count indicated there will be 39 students. A bus will be
available. There will be a reconnaissance paddle on June 30th
to assess the planned float down the river. Everyone attending
please bring hammers! A motion was made to allot $700 for
canoes and supplies. The motion was seconded, discussed and passed.
NEW BUSINESS:
Absent Treasurer: Kim read the by-laws and there was
discussion on how to deal with the treasurer, Tracie Hall, being
unable to attend the meetings on a regular basis. A motion was
made, seconded, discussed and passed to remove Tracie as treasurer,
but allow her to remain on the board. A motion was made to install
Kim Hatfield as treasurer.
There was a discussion as to what to do with the “fish
kill” money
A motion was made, seconded, discussed and passed
stating we are not obligated to compensate Brad McCord for grant
writing services.
A motion was made, seconded and passed to
