White River Watchers would like to welcome Trevor Noel.

Minutes:  The minutes for the meeting of Jan 22, 2007 were approved as written.

Treasurer’s Report:  There was $27,089.27 in the account.  Kevin Kenyon made a motion to look into an interest bearing account.  Crist Blassaras seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously.  John Johnson requested a more detailed treasurer’s report for future meetings. 

Old Business: 

      Crist educated the board on agricultural conservation practices.

      Judy DeLury made a motion to donate $100 to the Hoosier Environmental Council (HEC).  Crist Blassaras seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously.   Kim will e-mail Helen Ween. 

      Potential dates were discussed for the 10 year celebration and the clean-up in the fall.  It was decided to have the celebration at the end of July, the date pending upon the availability of Athletic Park and Edgewater Park.  Various activities for the celebration were discussed.  Helen Ween offered to reserve the ReMax balloon.  We will invite the blue-grass band common Ground.  The possibility of offering canoe rides from Edgewater to River Bend Park was also discussed.  Judy made a motion to spend $200 for mailings.  The motion was seconded and passed.  Other possibilities were also discussed, such inviting food vendors along with other vendors and groups willing to be a part of the celebration. 

      We also discussed having a presence at Anderson’s Earth Day celebration.
