Minutes: The
minutes for the meeting of Sept. 19, 2005 were approved as written
Treasurer’s
Report: There is $30,466.38 in our account as of the end of
September. The treasurer’s report was approved
Old Business:
Kilburns won first place in the Lapel Home Coming
Parade and first place in the Frankton Days Parade for their float
made with tires from the Sept. clean-up
There should be a budget committee
Elections will be next meeting. Kim volunteered to
remain as treasurer. Judy volunteered to remain as secretary.
Sheryl was mentioned as a possible candidate for President.
Christmas will be December 19th
The election should be posted on-line on the web-site
New Business:
John Johnson showed some gloves he bought for the
clean-ups. A motion was made, seconded and passed to reimburse John
for the 9 dozen gloves.
Crist described development downstream. There were 15
acres within the flood plain to be filled.
Yorktown commissioners want to start having clean-ups
again
Kim suggested having an ad campaign/advertising for
keeping the river clean
The PO Box dues need to be paid for the next year
A motion was made,
seconded and passed to adjourn in time to see the COLTS game.
